BJ’s very first column was in his high school newspaper, The Landon News, entitled One-on-One with BJ. During his four years at Boston College, BJ continued to write for the university’s newspaper The Heights. In 2006, BJ was tapped by Metro Newspaper in NYC as a featured writer, covering the city’s high-profile events with his zeitgeist-like column Invite Only, BJ Coleman Takes You Behind The Velvet Rope. From 2008-2009, BJ contributed a column to Hip Hop weekly, entitled In The Know with BJ Coleman, an insider’s look at some of hip-hop’s most lavish events.
